Sony has announced the release of new fully wireless headphones WF-SP800N, aimed at athletes. They are distinguished by the presence of active noise reduction and protection from water according to the IP55 standard. In addition, they support the Google Assistant voice assistant and proprietary sound improvement technologies. Sony WF-SP800N are traditional in-ear plugs with silicone ear pads. Additionally, they are equipped with a mount for a more secure fit in the ear. This solution allows you to use headphones even during active training, without fear that they will fall out. IP55 protection ensures that sweat or even a little rain will not harm them in any way. The headphones support active noise reduction with the ability to adjust its intensity via the proprietary mobile app. The so-called "transparent" mode is also supported, when activated, the surrounding sounds become audible. You can turn it on permanently or temporarily by touching the earphone with your finger. Additionally, it provides bass amplification due to Extra Bass technology, 360 reality Audio surround sound, and the ability to call voice assistants without having to take out the smartphone. The stated operating time from a single charge is 9 hours with noise reduction enabled and 13 hours with the power off. Charging from a branded case provides an additional 9 or 13 hours of operation, respectively, and fast charging allows you to get an additional hour of music playback in just 10 minutes. The Sony WF-SP800N is available in black, white, blue, and orange for $199.99.
