  • Microsoft released an Android application with beautiful wallpapers

Choosing a wallpaper is an important part of customizing your smartphone. After all, the perception of the user interface often depends on them, and it is not easy to find the ideal image for this. The new Microsoft app should make this task much easier.

Microsoft released an Android application with beautiful wallpapers

The Bing Wallpapers app provides access to a huge collection of quality wallpapers. It contains beautiful photographs from around the world, each of which has a small description, which allows you to learn new facts about interesting places.

Bing Wallpapers provides the ability to search for desired images using multiple filters, such as colors, countries, categories, and so on. But the main feature was the ability to automatically daily change the wallpaper on the smartphone screen. Thanks to this, the device will constantly look fresh and not get bored with time. A similar feature is also available in the  Microsoft company launcher.

You can download Bing Wallpapers on Google Play. If the store writes about the inaccessibility of the application, it can be installed manually using the APK-file. It is important to note that the program is completely free and does not contain any advertising.

The exact release date of the devices is not reported, and the model names are not specified. But, given that every year in August, a new line of Note is announced, and the network has repeatedly appeared leaks about the second version of the company's folding smartphone, it is obviously about the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20.

In the report, the South Korean manufacturer noted that many vendors are now trying to fix their financial situation, which arose against the background of unstable production operations in the first half of the year. Despite the competition that will arise from this, Samsung "will continue to offer differentiated products in the premium segment with the release of new folding models and the Note".
According to rumors, the upcoming flagships will receive improved cameras, 5G support, an updated stylus, and 120 Hz screens.

Microsoft demonstrated the work of Project xCloud - a streaming service that allows you to run games on any device. Once cloud technology was something of a fantasy, but today they are looked at by many large companies, including the manufacturer Xbox. And if the diskless console still exists only at the level of rumors, the opportunity to enjoy, say, Forza Horizon 4 on Android-smartphone will be available to the General public this year.
The recent racing hit is mentioned for a reason: it was on the example of Forza Horizon 4 that the capabilities of Project xCloud were shown. According to Karim Chowdry, responsible for this direction at Microsoft, gaming should develop this way: users will not be limited to the platform or the device and will be able to play anywhere from any device. The principle of operation of the service is very simple: the files are run in the data center of the Corporation and broadcast to the selected user gadget, whether phone or PC.
Chowdry stressed that Project xCloud is not created as a replacement for consoles. It's more a way to give gamers choice and freedom. The audience's attention was also focused on the fact that the quality of the games will not suffer — thanks to the power of data centers you will not have to sacrifice a high level of graphics and other settings. Public testing of the technology promises to start this year.

Paradox Interactive has teamed up with Microsoft to create its own platform for mods. The announcement was published on the official website of the Swedish publishing house. The good news was that the service, which received a simple name Paradox Mods, is supported on both PC and Xbox One. User modifications will be allowed to embed in the game, regardless of the store in which they were purchased, whether Steam, GOG, EGS or Xbox Store.
Paradox decided to start with their creations - popular fashion for Stellaris, Cities Skylines and Surviving Mars can now be run on the console from Microsoft. Modifications to Paradox Mods will not be moderated but will be tested for performance. Subsequently, they will be allowed to run through the menu console or, in the case of PC, a special launcher.
Accurate data on how soon the Paradox Mods service will get to other popular titles, yet. However, the companies expect to achieve this goal by the end of this year. It is worth noting that all of the above applies exclusively to PC and Xbox One. Hope for the introduction of user modifications in the game for Switch and PlayStation 4 is not necessary: representatives of Paradox said that talked with many companies, but they went to meet only Microsoft.
Among other things, the Swedes from Paradox Interactive shared their successes for 2018 in the financial report published a few days ago. It follows that in the fourth quarter of 2018, the company's revenue amounted to $36 million, and profit-$15.7 million, which exceeds the figures for the same period of 2017 by 51% and 69%, respectively.
