Microsoft will rethink the start menu in Windows 10
Twitter user under the nickname Vlad published two screenshots, which allegedly presented the concept of an updated start menu in a test build of the operating system Windows 10. Instead of animated tiles, the new design provides static lists of recently opened applications and files, similar to earlier versions of the desktop OS.
Also, according to the source, a new pop-up dialog box will appear in Windows 10 after installing the program. The operating system prompts the user to launch the application or add a shortcut to the start menu.
It is reported that these changes will come in Windows 10 this fall as part of the major update 19H2.

The head of Xiaomi promised a breakthrough of mobile cameras in 2019
Lei Jun published a post on the Chinese social network Weibo about the importance of the quality of photo and video shooting of modern flagship gadgets. According to him, the company invests in research and development of significant funds and hopes to get a return in the form of a significant increase in the capabilities of cameras in smartphones this year.
DxOMark rating: Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 entered the top three immediately after the release, including the quality of the front camera. At the same time new features such as Super Night Scene Mode and slow motion at a speed of 960 fps, has been added to many models of Xiaomi (including Xiaomi and Xiaomi Mi8 Mi Mix 2S, who are now on the same level with the Mi 3 Mix).
Redmi Note 7 was one of the first devices in the industry equipped with a 48-megapixel camera. This is the cheapest phone with a 48-megapixel camera to date.
Low-end smartphones like the Redmi Note 7 and Xiaomi Mi8 Lite (Youth Edition) got the Super Night Scene mode, which was originally reserved for flagship devices.
Probably, the head of Xiaomi hints at the advanced capabilities of the upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi9, as representatives of the company have repeatedly hinted earlier. However, lei Jun noted that there are numerous innovations that will be implemented in various smartphones of the company, scheduled for release this year.
Google will improve the performance of two SIM cards in Pixel 4
Earlier this year, Google plans to introduce two available smartphones Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL. They will be "lightweight" versions of existing models of the third generation and are unlikely to bring important innovations in the line. In October, the appearance of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is expected. They may debut several interesting innovations, including those related to Android Q (for example, a dark theme). Also on the site Android, Open Source Project appeared an indication of changing the mode of operation of SIM-cards.
In Pixel 2/3 and Pixel 2 XL / 3 XL, the physical SIM card and eSIM can work alternately, switching between which is done manually. For developers, there was a possibility to transfer the smartphone to Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) mode. However, this year this option will appear in Pixel 4 and, perhaps, together with the update, will allow owners of already released models to activate the DSDS mode. The possibility of the release of Pixel 4 or 4 XL with two physical slots for SIM-cards is not reported.
