Sony has announced a new smartphone called the Xperia 10 II, which continued the vendor's line of branded gadgets in the mid-price segment. The main features of the device are a "cinematic" screen, a triple main camera with a set of optics for different shooting conditions, and an increased battery capacity compared to its predecessor.
The new product inherited from its predecessor the elongated shape of the display with a diagonal of 6 inches with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of Full HD+ without holes and cutouts. Unlike last year's model, the manufacturer used an OLED matrix instead of an IPS. The smartphone case is protected from water and dust according to IP65/68 standards.
The device is built on the basis of an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and is equipped with 4 GB of RAM, the volume of the built-in storage is 128 GB. The battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh is responsible for the autonomy of the model. One of the features of the device is the 3.5 mm audio jack, which is less common even in the mid-budget segment.
The Xperia 10 II main camera module has three sensors with a resolution of 8 (ultra-wide-angle optics), 12 (wide-angle glass) and 8 MP (telephoto lens, equivalent focal length of 52 mm). The selfie module received one 8-megapixel sensor. The model supports 4K video recording and "cinematic" shooting with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
