  • Samsung Galaxy A50: sub-screen fingerprint scanner, triple AI camera and NFC


    In addition to the flagship line of Galaxy S10 and foldable Galaxy Fold, Samsung has brought new mid-range smartphones to the international mobile Congress in Barcelona. Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 became the first devices of the manufacturer with Super AMOLED Infinity-U displays, and the senior model of the first among the "mid-range" brand got a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.

    The Galaxy A50 is the top model in the series. The smartphone received a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera. In addition, as in the flagship Galaxy S10, the screen is integrated fingerprint scanner. The device is also equipped with a triple camera with the main 25-megapixel module, 5-megapixel depth sensor for shooting in Live Focus mode and 8-megapixel sensor with wide-angle optics. The front camera is one and has a resolution of 25 MP.

    Other features of the Galaxy A50 include an undeclared eight-core processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM, a built-in 64 or 128 GB drive depending on the modification. It is also possible to expand the storage with microSD cards up to 512 GB. The smartphone supports all the functions of a virtual assistant Bixby.

    The Galaxy A30 received a six-core processor, 3/4 GB of RAM, a 32/64 GB drive, a dual main camera with a 16-megapixel module for regular photos and a 5 — megapixel one for wide-angle ones. The resolution of the front camera is 16 MP.

    Both smartphones come with a 4000 mAh battery that supports fast charging. With the help of new products can be contactless to pay for purchases through the payment system Samsung Pay. Devices running Android Pie work and support the artificial intelligence features available in the Galaxy S10. For example, the smartphone will prompt the user to switch to an ultra-wide camera if it is better suited to a particular scene.
