Recently released OPPO Reno may soon get a more affordable version. It will retain a recognizable corporate design but will lose one of the main features of the original model.
As reported, the new smartphone in the line of Reno will be called OPPO Reno Z. Behind it will be a full copy of the usual OPPO Reno, but in front of the younger model will be markedly different — the front camera will be placed in a drop-shaped cutout. You should not wait for the sliding mechanism, but the screen fingerprint scanner and 3.5 mm audio jack will remain.
OPPO Reno Z should be the world's first smartphone based on the latest eight-core processor MediaTek Helio P90. In addition, it will receive a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, 6 GB of RAM, a 256 GB drive, a dual main camera with 48 and 5 MP Sensors, a 32-megapixel front, a 3950 mAh battery, a USB Type-C connector and an Android Pie as a pre-installed operating system. With a weight of 186 grams, its dimensions will be 157.3 x 74.9 x 9.1 mm.
Date of presentation OPPO Reno Z is not reported, but there is information about its price in China — $378. Recall that the cost of conventional Reno starts at $446.
