  • OnePlus 7 Pro vs OnePlus 7 - Price, Features, and Full Specifications

At the same time, OnePlus held a presentation of new products in several cities around the world. For the first time in history, the company presented two versions of the flagship smartphone: OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The star of the event was the Pro-version, as the usual "seven" looks almost no different from last year's 6T. The manufacturer did not experiment and collected the main trends of the industry in new products, added the top filling and seasoned it all with proprietary SOFTWARE.

The usual OnePlus 7 is not much different from last year's 6T. It retained the same design with glass back cover, dual main camera, and teardrop cutout in the screen under the front camera. You can still distinguish smartphones: the new model flash moved to the unit with the camera, and the slot of the speaker has become much wider. The latter is due to the fact that OnePlus smartphones finally have stereo speakers.

Inside the OnePlus 7 changes much more than externally. The "core" of the smartphone was the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. OnePlus also used the latest flash memory type UFS 3.0, which was previously used only in Samsung Galaxy Fold. Such a drive makes it much faster to work with files are: save, copy, and share. Also, the manufacturer listened to users and installed an advanced vibration motor, which is much more powerful than what was in previous smartphones of the company.

The main chamber has undergone dramatic changes. It consists of a 48-megapixel module with a Sony IMX586 sensor and an aperture lens f/1.6 and a second 5-megapixel module for the depth of field analysis.

All the major innovations the manufacturer has in store for the OnePlus 7 Pro. It received a 6.47-inch Quad HD display — this is the first device of the company with a resolution above Full HD. In addition, this is the first non-gaming smartphone with a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz. As a result, the picture on it is much smoother than on other devices. It is also important that the display has curved edges, as in the flagship Samsung.

From the cutout in the screen, OnePlus 7 Pro manufacturer refused: the front camera was hidden inside the body on a retractable mechanism. The company says that it is able to withstand 300,000 operations and to raise the camera takes only 0.53 seconds. OnePlus even recorded a 12-hour video where the camera is constantly rising and falling.

Another difference between the Pro-version of the usual "seven" was the triple rear camera. The main module is the same as in OnePlus 7 — Sony IMX586 with a resolution of 48 MP. In addition, the smartphone received an 8-megapixel sensor for shooting with triple optical zoom and a 16-megapixel module with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 117°.
