Flyme 8 interface was developed in accordance with the concept of "live design". The developers have tried to ensure that all elements of the system harmoniously combined with each other. Thus, the updated icons of preinstalled applications have more strict details and a clearer hierarchy. The company noted that the new dark theme works not only with standard programs but also with third-party ones. Animations, ringtones and notifications, alarms and other elements were also reworked.

The new Aicy voice assistant is able to recognize what is happening on the screen, images, and documents. However, it is not clear in what languages it will work.

Much attention was paid to the presentation of artificial intelligence technology One Mind 3.5, serving to optimize the system. According to the company, its efficiency has increased by 37% since Flyme 7.
