Meizu introduced the smartphone 16s Pro based on the latest Qualcomm mobile platform. In addition to productive hardware, the smartphone received all the trendy chips of modern flagships, including an advanced AI camera, a fast UFS 3.0 drive and a fingerprint scanner built into the display.
The smartphone in a glass case received a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of Full HD+ (2232 1920x1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18.6:9, occupying 91.53% of the front panel area. It covers 103% of the NTSC color gamut and has a brightness of 430 nits. The display also includes a fingerprint scanner, which, according to the manufacturer, works 25% faster than its counterpart in the model Meizu 16s.
Meizu 16s Pro is based on the Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform and is equipped with 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, depending on the configuration. The volume of the built-in drive UFS 3.0 is 128 or 256 GB. The capacity of the built-in battery with the fast charging function with a power of 24 W is 3600 mAh. The gadget was equipped with an NFC module and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The novelty is running Android 9.0 Pie with the Flyme 8 shell.
The triple rear camera of the smartphone comprises of sensors with a resolution of 48 Megapixels (Sony IMX586, f/1.7, OIS), 20 MP (Sony IMX350, telephoto lens, f/2.4) and 16 megapixels (Sony IMX481, wide-angle optics). Around the third sensor is placed branded ring LED-flash.
The list of camera features includes intelligent night mode, HDR, 4K@60 fps video recording and slow-motion video. The 20-megapixel selfie camera uses artificial intelligence algorithms to enhance shots and supports face recognition to unlock the smartphone in addition to a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.
Sales of the Meizu 16s Pro in white, black, green and white with gradient body colors will begin in China on August 31. In the 6/128 GB memory configuration, the smartphone will cost $376, version 8/128 8/256 GB and GB will cost buyers $ $ 418 and $460 respectively.
