  • HUAWEI has published a list of smartphones that will receive EMUI 10

    Following the publication of the release schedule for the new EMUI 10 firmware for flagship smartphones, HUAWEI presented a new list of models, including all released gadgets that will receive or have already received the current version of the system.

    The presentation of EMUI 10 took place in August 2019, after which the company began beta testing the firmware on HUAWEI P30 and Mate 20 smartphones, which received the final version of the system in December. Now the company has presented a list of devices that can already be updated to the firmware or will receive it soon.

    Smartphones for which EMUI 10 is ready:

    • Huawei P30
    • Huawei P30 Pro
    • Huawei Mate 20
    • Huawei Mate 20 Pro
    • Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design
    • Huawei Mate 20 X 4G
    • Huawei Mate 20 X 5G
    • Huawei P Smart+ 2019
    • Huawei P smart Pro
    • Huawei P30 lite (128 GB)
    • Huawei P smart 2019

    The firmware is under development:

    • Huawei Mate 20 lite
    • Huawei P smart Z

    Development planned:

    • end of May: Huawei P30 lite (256 GB)
    • mid-June: Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro
    • early June: Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design

    The company noted that the list is relevant only for unlocked smartphones, and the release of updates for gadgets tied to operators may take a little longer.

    In EMUI 10, built on the basis of Android 10, the design is optimized, a dark color scheme and icon sets have appeared. According to HUAWEI representatives, the system has been fundamentally redesigned to improve stability and performance.
