The English start-up F (x)tec presented a smartphone in the form factor of a slider with a productive filling at the MWC 2019 exhibition. T new product called F (x)tec Pro 1 received a curved display and keyboard QWERTY-unit that allows you to use the gadget as a miniature laptop.
When folded, the device is a familiar smartphone-monoblock with curved edges AMOLED - display diagonal of 5.99 inches at a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels. On the sides of the case, there is a power button, volume rocker, and a fingerprint scanner. Stereo speakers and USB Type-C port are on the lower end, 3.5 mm audio Jack is on the upper end.
When you move the slide mechanism, the screen of the gadget "slides" at a large angle to the bottom, turning the smartphone into a kind of laptop. The 64-key keyboard module allows you to type and edit text, as well as scroll through web browser pages without touching the display. In addition to the letter keys, the user has the functional Esc, Tab, Caps Lock, Delete, Backspace, Ctrl and Shift.
