In a few weeks, Samsung will introduce a new generation of flagship Galaxy S series devices. Another major leak, merged by one of the reputable insiders, revealed the alleged characteristics of all three models: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The network also has a concept video showing the design of one of the smartphones.
According to the leak, all three models will receive AMOLED displays with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. New items will work on the basis of Android 10 and Exynos 990 platform (there is information about versions on Snapdragon 865), the built-in memory capacity will be at least 128 GB with the possibility of an expansion via microSD cards, but there is no exact data on the amount of RAM yet. There are suggestions that the flagship model Galaxy S20 Ultra can get up to 16 GB of RAM.
The key differences between the devices will be the display diagonal and the resolution/number of cameras. According to this leak, the most compact of the new products will be the Galaxy S20 model with a screen diagonal of 6.2 inches. It is expected that the youngest of the flagships will receive a 64-megapixel camera with triple optical zoom, 8K recording support and a 4000 mAh battery. The device's front-facing 10-megapixel camera can record video in 4K resolution.
Galaxy S20+ will get almost identical characteristics but will differ in a larger display diagonal (6.7 inches), the presence of a time-of-flight sensor and an increased battery of 4500 mAh.
Finally, the top model of the Galaxy S20 Ultra will get the largest display with a diagonal of 6.9 inches, the main camera at 108 MP and the front camera with a resolution of 50 MP. The top smartphone is also credited with having a 10x optical and 100x digital zoom. However, there is other information that it will only have a 5x optical zoom. It is possible that the Galaxy S20 Ultra will get an increased battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
The presentation of the new Samsung flagships will take place on February 11, 2020.
