Techinsights portal specialists have disassembled Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus in order to study the components used in the flagship. They did this primarily in order to find out the real cost of the South Korean novelty. Recall that the device is sold at a price of $999 for the basic version, and for a modification with 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB drive manufacturer asks for $1599.

The most expensive element of the Galaxy S10+ is expected to be a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with curved edges and a hole for a dual front camera — it costs $86.5, which is $10 more compared to the Galaxy S9+. In second place on the high cost is the processor Exynos 9820 for $70.5, which is $10 cheaper than last year's Exynos 9810. The cameras, of which there are five in the smartphone, cost $56.5.

As a result, the cost of all components of the Galaxy S10+ in version 8 + 128 GB is $420. For comparison, last year's Galaxy S9+ was priced at $379 and iPhone XS Max at $443.

Recall that the final price of the device for consumers is formed by many factors, which in addition to the cost of hardware filling includes Assembly, additional components ($36.5), patent fees, logistics costs, advertising, etc.
