  • Energizer E241 and E241S: Energizer introduced two low-cost push-button smartphones on KaiOS


    At the international exhibition IFA 2019, Energizer introduced two push-button smartphones E241 and E241S running the KaiOS operating system. YouTube, Google Maps and WhatsApp are pre-installed on both devices. The older version is designed to work with 4G networks.

    Visually Energizer E241 and E241S are no different. Both smartphones come with hardware buttons and a small 2.4-inch color display. The E241S supports fourth-generation 4G networks, while the younger model is compatible exclusively with 3G.

    The built-in battery capacity is 1800 mAh, which is enough for six days of battery life or 28 hours of continuous conversation. Gadgets are based on the KaiOS operating system. Among the available pre-installed applications, one can mention “Google Maps”, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp. Support for the voice assistant Google Assistant is also implemented, for which a separate hardware key is provided. The devices are equipped with two cameras.

    Both smartphones are available in black and blue and have a three-year warranty. The 3G model Energizer E241 has a price tag of € 29.99. Version with 4G support will cost € 34.99.
