    Google has already released pre-builds of Android 11, but Developer Preview images, according to developers, are not intended for ordinary users. Soon after the announcement of the release date of the new version of the mobile OS, the company published a roadmap with a schedule of releases of more "friendly" beta versions, which all owners of compatible smartphone models can try out.

    Initially, it was expected that Google will release the final versions of the API for developers and switch to open testing of new user functions in May this year. Later, the situation changed: according to the updated schedule, the place of the long-awaited build was taken by Developer Preview 4, and the first user beta version of Android 11 will appear only in early June.
    The second and third public builds will be presented in July and August, respectively, and the release of the final version, according to Google, will take place in the third quarter of this year. As the reason for the delay of the public beta, the company points out the need for more thorough testing of the stability of the operating system by developers. The exact date of the official launch of the eleventh version of the "green robot" has not yet been announced.

A special aftershow is planned for developers, where the company's experts will answer various questions about the new OS. Questions should be asked in advance via Twitter, specifying the special hashtag #AskAndroid in the message.
    Along with the presentation, the first build of Android 11 Beta is expected to be released. The final version is scheduled for release in the third quarter of this year.
    Interestingly, a little earlier, Apple announced the date of its WWDC conference, where iOS 14 will be presented.
