  • Panasonic Toughbook 55: rugged case and 20 hours of battery life

    Panasonic has announced the launch of sales of an updated series of laptops in a protected case. The Toughbook 55 is not only notable for its resistance to shock and water: the design of the laptop allows you to expand its functionality in a matter of minutes without the help of a screwdriver or soldering iron. Another feature of the device is a capacious battery with record-breaking battery life in its class.

    The laptop runs on Intel Core i5 or Core i7 Whiskey Lake processors depending on the configuration, the DDR4 RAM is up to 64 GB. The gadget is equipped with a top modification discrete graphics AMD Radeon Pro WX 4150. Brightness touchscreen 14-inch display with a resolution of Full HD is 1000 cd/m2.

    On the laptop case, there are special expansion slots for installing a card reader, additional VGA, USB ports and other interfaces, as well as biometric sensors. According to the manufacturer, the device has become one of the thinnest and lightest in its class.

    Among the other features of the Toughbook 55 is the presence of four microphones, speakers with a maximum volume of up to 90 dB (police siren volume level), HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C ports, Bluetooth 5.0 module and impressive battery life - up to 20 hours on a single charge battery.
