The main feature of the Acer Predator Triton 900 is a swivel display that allows you to use your computer in several modes. It also features a unique surround sound playback technology, and high-performance stuffing allows it to compete in power with desktop solutions.
One of the problems of gaming laptops is excessive heating under load. Therefore, the Predator Triton 900 uses an advanced fourth-generation AeroBlade 3D cooling system with a 45% increase in airflow and Coolboost technology, which provides cooling of laptops during long gaming sessions. All this was placed in the case with a thickness of only 23.75 mm.
The key feature of the Predator Triton 900 is the pivoting screen design. The patented technology Ezel Aero Hinge allows you to change the position of the 17-inch display, thereby providing four unique modes of operation:
- Display - to share the screen with friends during gaming sessions.
- Ezel - for games on the touch screen
- Classic laptop mode - for traditional gaming scenarios
- Tablet mode - for collaborative games or creative work
To the right of the keyboard is a trackpad that provides a natural position of hands in games and allows you to do without using the mouse. In addition, the trackpad is able to operate in digital mode for easy operation in office applications. The laptop uses a mechanical RGB-keyboard with the ability to customize each button. Above the keyboard, there are special buttons-macros to which players can assign their commands.
The device is equipped with a touch 4K display with IPS matrix, 100% color coverage of Adobe RGB and support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology. For graphics in Acer Predator Triton 900 meets discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. Other features include an eight-core ninth-generation Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, 2 x 512GB NVMe PCIe RAID 0 solid state drives, and 32GB DDR4 RAM. All this allows you to run modern games at the maximum graphics settings.
Another unique feature of the Acer Predator Triton 900 is the Waves Maxx technology. It tracks the user's head to provide a realistic three-dimensional sound depending on the position in front of the screen.
Killer DoubleShot Pro technology allows you to connect to Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks at the same time to avoid lag and delays during the game. The Killer Network Manager program determines the characteristics of each connection and distributes the traffic of running applications to the most appropriate network channel. The laptop is equipped with one USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 technology, one USB Type-C with video transmission support, two USB 3.1 Gen1, one USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Ethernet.
The laptop can be controlled from your smartphone through the proprietary mobile application PredatorSense. The SOFTWARE will allow you to control overclocking settings, fan speed, backlight, and audio modes apply pre-installed on the PC active backlight profiles or remotely switch them, as well as view and install customizable macro sets for hotkeys.
The Predator Triton 900 is available in North America in March with prices starting at US$3,999; in EMEA in March, with prices starting at €4,199, and in China in March, with prices starting at ¥39,999.
