    HONOR brand is preparing to release two new smartphones - HONOR 9X Pro and HONOR V30, the presentation of which should take place on February 25th. But, as insiders managed to find out, the company is working on another inexpensive device. A record on certification of the HONOR 9C model has appeared in the base of the EEC regulator.

    The device serial number is ASK-L29. No technical specifications are included, but given that the smartphone will become the successor of the HONOR 8C, it is expected that the gadget will debut in the middle price segment and will receive a noticeable upgrade compared to its predecessor.

    According to rumors, the device will receive a 6.5-inch IPS display with Full HD + resolution, a Kirin 710 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, as well as a 3750 mAh battery and a dual main camera (48 + 2 MP). The price of the future news is unknown.

    A few months ago, network informants hinted at Apple's plans to introduce a new generation of iPad tablets, the main camera of which will include three sensors at once, including a ToF module for determining the distance to an object in the frame and 3D scanning. A new report from Digitimes indicates that the American company has already started producing the gadget.

    It is expected that the new product will be announced in March, but the delivery of the device, in connection with the coronavirus epidemic in China, will be postponed to April. Detailed specifications and the cost of the new tablet are not reported.

    Soon after the announcement of VIA's first x86-compatible eight-core processor for years, the new product, codenamed CenTaur, appeared on a number of insider photos. Published pictures confirmed that the chip will receive a traditional processor socket for installation on motherboards.

    According to network sources, a 16-nm process technology that the CPU will receive a four-channel memory controller (DDR4), 44 built-in PCIe lines and 16 MB of L3 cache. It is also reported that the processor is equipped with a dedicated NCore neural computing unit for working with applications using artificial intelligence algorithms.

    The exact release date and price of VIA CenTaur by the manufacturer have not yet been announced.
