In this release of Insider information: Apple will equip the new iPad Pro with 3D cameras; Xiaomi's Meitu smartphone will appear next year; Realme XT with a 64-megapixel camera will be presented in September; Moto E6 Plus: the first photos and specifications.
Apple will equip the new iPad Pro 3D-cameras
The Macrumors website, citing Korean web resources, said that next year Apple iPad Pro tablets will receive advanced cameras with 3D scanning. According to the source, mass production of new modules with ToF sensors will begin at the end of this year.
Next year's iPad Pro will use ToF technology several months earlier than the new iPhones. The possibility of using sensors in new iPads was previously reported by well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
As a rule, iPads rarely get new features before the iPhone, with rare exceptions. There is nothing surprising in the appearance of 3D sensors in the brand's gadgets-Apple is intensively developing in the field of augmented reality, where such technologies are very popular.
Smartphone Meitu, developed by Xiaomi, will appear next year
When Xiaomi and Meitu signed a partnership agreement last year, it was assumed that Xiaomi would produce some smartphones under the partner's brand. Yet the only such gadget was the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Edition. As the Gizmochina portal notes, technically it is not related to Meitu since it uses a different “design language”.
Recently, the head of Mi announced that the "real" smartphone Meitu will be announced next year. Under previous arrangements, it will be produced and sold by Xiaomi and will be the first device in Meitu's new product line.
Nothing is known about the specifications of the smartphone. Perhaps it will look like a Little Fairy smartphone with a PTZ camera, a teaser of which previously appeared on the network.
Realme XT with a 64-megapixel camera will be presented in September
As part of the Realme 5 series, in September there will be a Realme XT smartphone with the main camera equipped with a 64-megapixel sensor. Sales of new items will start in India, the website FoneArena reports.
Today, a representative of the company published an image of the smartphone without specifying the name of the model - according to network sources, the poster depicts the Realme XT, recently announced by the company at one of the press events. The device received a glass back cover in unusual colors for the line. There is no fingerprint scanner on it - the smartphone will probably be equipped with an AMOLED display with an integrated biometric sensor. It is not known whether the front camera is retractable or the display has a cutout or hole.
The company also said that the smartphone will run on a Snapdragon chipset without specifying a model number. It is expected that in addition to the main sensor with a resolution of 64 MP, the camera module will include sensors with ultra-wide-angle, macro, and telephoto lenses.
It is possible that in China and other countries Realme XT will go on sale under a different name.
Moto E6 Plus: first photos and specifications
A month after the announcement of the Moto E6 smartphone, pictures of the new modification of the budget model with the Plus index already appeared on the Internet. According to an authoritative insider Roland Quandt, the new product will receive a number of differences from the base version.
The device will be equipped with a drop-shaped display for the front, thin frames and a smaller “chin” compared to the Moto E6. On the rear panel (supposedly plastic) there will be a dual-camera and a fingerprint scanner with the Motorola logo.
The specifications of the future news have not yet been announced, but the device has already appeared in the Geekbench database. According to the test results, the Moto E6 Plus is based on the MediaTek Helio P22 mobile platform with support for 2 GB of RAM.
The release date and price of the smartphone are unknown.
