iQOO Pro will be the first 5G smartphone on Snapdragon 855 Plus
In June, Vivo presented iQOO 5G, its first smartphone with support for fifth-generation networks, as part of the iQOO sub-brand. Now the manufacturer has announced the release of another 5G-device called iQOO Pro. It will be presented in China on August 22.
One of the main features of iQOO Pro will be the new flagship processor Snapdragon 855 Plus with 5G-modem Snapdragon X50. Feng Yufei, Vice President of the iQOO brand, also promised an updated camera, increased battery life, improved sound and optimized gaming experience compared to the usual iQOO.
DJI announced the presentation of new products
On August 13, at 16:00 Moscow time, DJI will hold a presentation under the slogan "Creativity without borders". In the teasers of the event, the manufacturer depicts parties and fun. Products for land and air are expected to be presented.
Among expected novelties — drone Mini DJI Mavic, pictures of which appeared online. The pictures show that the drone is quite compact and has a foldable design for easy transportation and storage. Specifications have not been disclosed.
In addition to the new drone, DJI can present manual stabilizer Osmo Mobile 3, information about which previously appeared on the Internet. In comparison with the previous generation, the accessory will become even more compact.
It is possible that DJI will present other new products on August 13.
The insider spoke about the future AMD GPUs
Just a month ago, AMD introduced new graphics processors based on NAVI architecture RDNA, but the network has already heard rumors about their heirs. Redgamingtech reports that the company is working on at least two new Navi GPUs: Navi 21 and Navi 23. The source claims to already have some information about them.
According to RedGamingTech, the Navi 23 GPU inside AMD is codenamed NVIDIA Killer. Among the features of the new graphics cards, support for real-time ray tracing technology at the hardware level, as it was implemented in GeForce RTX graphics cards from NVIDIA.
Note that the CEO of AMD Lisa Su has officially confirmed that the company is working on new top-end graphics cards Radeon RX based on Navi. They will be released in mid-2020. At the same time, the premiere of RDNA architecture of the second generation is expected.
