Nokia will release a "charged" version of the five-camera smartphone PureView
Portal NokiaPowerUser with reference to network sources said that the Nokia brand is preparing to release an updated version of the smartphone Nokia 9 PureView with improved performance.
Presumably, the vendor will continue its partnership with Light: it is expected that the shooting capabilities of the device called Nokia 9.1 PureView will be higher than the original model, including in low-light conditions. The speed of the device will also increase due to the use of the new Snapdragon 855 processor.
According to available information, the new product will get a hole in the display for the front camera, Android Q operating system, and 5G modem. The exact date of the presentation and the price of the smartphone are unknown.
Nubia Z20 will get 8K video recording function
At the conference Global Mobile Internet Conference, the head of the brand Nubia Ni FEI said that the list of capabilities of the camera preparing for the release of the smartphone will include a function of shooting video at a resolution of 8K with a speed above 15 frames per second, which could provide the previously announced Red Magic 3.
According to the head of the company, the smartphone will be able to create professional-level videos. AMOLED-display of the gadget will be made by a special technology for the correct display of the footage.
On another teaser, the company showed the work of night mode:
According to early leaks, the Nubia Z20 will be built on the mobile platform Snapdragon 855 or 855 Plus, the exact specifications of the device's camera have not yet been announced.
The presentation of Nubia Z20 will take place on August 8.
SK Hynix will reduce the production of 3D NAND memory
South Korean semiconductor manufacturer SK Hynix said that in the next few months it intends to reduce the production of 3D NAND memory chips. The company also intends to revise its plans to equip factories to reduce investment.
According to the portal Gizchina, the reduction of production volumes is necessary to stabilize the memory prices, which decreased due to overproduction. In the second quarter of this year, the company increased deliveries by 40% compared to the first quarter and now intends to reduce the pace of shipments by 15% compared to last year.
As a temporary solution, the vendor will slow down the expansion of production at the M15 plant, which produces both DRAM modules and 3D NAND, and postpone the installation of new equipment at the M16 plant. The estimated level of price growth after the decline in supply does not lead the source.
