AMD Radeon RX XT 5700 is equipped with 8 GB of memory GDDR6 with a frequency of 14 GHz and a 256-bit bus. The graphics card was the first representative of the ruler Navi on the architecture of the RDNA. The graphics accelerator with a heat package of 255 W received 40 computational, 64 raster and 256 texture blocks, the number of stream processors of the model was 2560. The base frequency of the video core — 1605 MHz with the ability to accelerate to 1905 MHz. Claimed peak performance of the GPU with single precision teraflops of 9.75.

AMD introduced a new line of Ryzen Pro 4000 mobile processors for ultra-thin business-class laptops. The company has set a goal to provide users of such devices with high performance, long battery life, and additional protection.
According to AMD, the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U is the fastest business processor for ultra-thin laptops: it has 8 cores, 16 threads, and up to 33% more performance in multithreaded mode than its competitors. Compared to the previous generation, this chip is twice as productive per watt and has a 37 percent increase in performance when working with Microsoft Office. Laptops based on it will be able to work for more than 20 hours without recharging.

A distinctive feature of the AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 series processors is support for AMD Pro features, which include data protection using AMD Memory Guard and support for Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

In addition to the new processors, AMD introduced the Radeon RX 5600 XT video card at CES 2020. According to the manufacturer, this is the ultimate solution for gamers who want to play modern games in 1080p resolution at high fps.

The Radeon RX 5600 XT model occupied a niche between the Radeon 5500XT, designed to run games at 1080p @ 60 fps, and the Radeon 5700 XT, which provides 1440p gameplay. The new product is capable of delivering from 90 to 120 frames per second at a resolution of 1080p. For example, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on ultra graphics settings with this video card, you can get a very comfortable 92 fps. It shows similar indicators in Division 2, Gears of War 5, the Witcher 3 and other titles.

The Radeon RX 5600 XT is based on the AMD Navi 10 graphics chip based on the 7-nm process technology. It is equipped with 36 computing units and 2304 stream processors, as in the Radeon 5700 XT, but operates at lower frequencies - from 1375 to 1560 MHz. The video card is available only in the version with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. Its power reaches 7.19 teraflops, while the Radeon 5700 XT this figure is 7.95 teraflops.

AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT will go on sale on January 21 at a price of $279. Many companies have already announced the release of their own modifications based on this video card.

During the announcement of the updated line of Ryzen processors, AMD introduced five new 7-nm models in various price categories, including 24-stream Ryzen 9 3900X. Today, the vendor announced the release of an even more productive 16-core gaming CPU with impressive technical characteristics.

Ryzen 9 3950X is built on the basis of Zen 2 microarchitecture and combines two 7-nm chiplets and 14-nm I / o crystal on one substrate. The 16-core model with 24 lines PCI-Express 4.0 has retained the processor connector and case dimensions similar to other solutions for the AM4 socket. The base clock speed of the CPU is 3.5 GHz, in boost mode — 4.7 GHz. The total amount of cache memory amounted to 72 MB, the claimed thermal package (TDP) — 105 watts.
During the presentation, AMD was able to overclock the Ryzen 9 3950X using nitrogen cooling to 5375 MHz — this frequency brought the processor a record 12 167 points in the benchmark Cinebench R20 — 12% more than the previous record holder Intel Core i9-7960X.
Start of sales is scheduled for September 2019 at a price of $749.

AMD has introduced new mobile processors Ryzen Pro and Athlon Pro of the second generation. A total of four chips were shown with a maximum power consumption of about 15 W and integrated graphics Vega. They are designed for compact laptops and are suitable for work and entertainment.

The top model of the new line was Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U. It is a Quad-core solution (eight streams) with a base frequency of 2.3 GHz and a maximum of 4.0 GHz. The integrated graphics subsystem Vega 10 is responsible for working with graphics. Next comes the Ryzen 5 Pro 3500U with four cores (eight threads) and 2.1 GHz with a boost to 3.7 GHz. VEGA 8 acts as a graphics subsystem. Even more affordable solution was Ryzen 3 Pro 3300U with four cores (eight threads), 2.1 GHz with overclocking up to 3.5 GHz and graphics Vega 6. The Athlon Pro 300U — Junior model in the new line — has two cores (four streams) at 2.4 GHz (maximum 3.3 GHz) and integrated graphics Vega 3.
All four of the chip is made on a 12-nm process, whereas in the past generation were used of 14 nm.

In comparison with AMD Pro A12-98008 new Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U more powerful than 187% at the Central processor and 128% faster when running graphics applications. It also overtakes a bit in all the scenarios of its predecessor Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U.

Compared to the Intel Core i7-8650U, the new Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U shows a noticeable performance gain in terms of the CPU and GPU.

In the processing of pictures Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U 36% faster than its main competitor in the face of Intel Core i7-8650U. In the 3D simulation the difference is 64%, and in imaging — 258%. The situation is similar between Ryzen 5 Pro 3500U and Intel Core i5-8350U.

New mobile processors Ryzen Pro second generation graphics Vega provides more than 12 hours of battery life and up to 10 hours of continuous video playback.
For enterprise customers, AMD has equipped new chips with data encryption support and a dedicated coprocessor that supports all of the security features of Windows 10.

The release dates of the first devices on the Ryzen Pro 3000 are not yet reported, but HP and Lenovo have already announced the use of new chips in their future products.
