After the GSMA Association decided to cancel the Mobile World Congress 2020 exhibition, electronics manufacturers also changed their plans for the upcoming announcements of new products. Xiaomi, which was going to take part in the event despite the coronavirus epidemic, announced the postponement of the planned presentation of the global version of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones.

Xiaomi has postponed the European release of the Mi 10 flagships

The organizers of the exhibition have not yet named an alternative date for the event, and Xiaomi issued an official statement in which it is reported that the announcement of global versions of the Mi 10 family of smartphones has been postponed indefinitely. Previously, it was assumed that the presentation will take place on February 23, the day before the start of MWC 2020. The manufacturer will announce the date of the European presentation of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models later.

Recall that the key difference between the presented new products, built on the basis of the Snapdragon 865 processor, was the configuration of the camera module - the older version of the gadget received two telephoto lenses with different focal lengths. In addition, the Pro version of the smartphone supports 50W fast charging technology. The cost of the flagships of Xiaomi starts at $573.
