The story of the “long-suffering” upgrade of Xiaomi Mi A3 to Android 10 still came to an end. After almost four months of waiting and canceling the OTA update due to a critical error, the developers made the necessary changes to the operating system code, and now smartphone owners can begin installing a fresh revision of the “green robot”.
The possibility of downloading files of a new firmware image of 1.37 GB in size began to inform users of the thematic forum mi.com. The software includes all the basic functions and innovations of the "update": a dark design interface, a new navigation scheme and improved privacy management tools.
It is worth noting that those owners of smartphones who managed to install Android 10 in early March, shortly before the end of the update distribution list, can limit themselves to downloading the patch at 30 MB. It contains bug fixes of the previous version, including the inoperability of the fingerprint scanner and crashes of the camera application in Pro-mode.
Now the OTA update for Mi A3 is already available on smartphones in Brazil and India. It is expected that in the near future the firmware will be available in other regions.
