  • Windows 10 will get a quick file sharing feature with Android gadgets

Although Microsoft has refused to further develop its own mobile operating system, the company is trying to expand the functionality of Windows 10 so that it can be used comfortably by smartphone owners. According to insiders, the Your Phone app will soon get a new feature for working together devices running Windows 10, iOS and Android.

On the Corporation's website, the developers managed to find a set of parameters that provides not only the ability to directly send files from your smartphone to your computer in the Your Phone app but also the use of a shared clipboard. Files and text snippets copied from the context menu or using Ctrl-C can be inserted into a mobile app that is connected to the same Microsoft account.

Initially, the Your Phone app allowed you not only to view notifications from your smartphone on the screen of a laptop or computer with Windows 10, but also to make calls from your PC. Now, Microsoft is focusing on expanding the app's functionality. The release date for the updated version of the cross-platform app has not yet been announced.
