  • The number of infected COVID-19 outside of China is close to 15 thousand people


    The total number of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus in the world continues to grow and on the morning of Thursday, March 5, amounted to 95036 thousand people, the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post reported.

    At the same time, China accounts for 80,409 cases of the disease, and the number of infected people outside mainland China reached 14,627, an increase of almost 2.3 thousand cases over the past day.

    The number of victims of coronavirus in mainland China grew during the day, from 194 to 271 people: 107 died in Italy, 92 - Iran, 35 in South Korea, 12 in Japan (including six passengers of the cruise liner Diamond Princess), 11 in USA, four in France, two in Hong Kong in one case a fatal outcome was recorded in Thailand, Spain, Australia, the UK, Ecuador, Taiwan, and the Philippines, San Marino.

    Most of the patients - 5766 - were found in South Korea, 3089 - in Italy, 2922 - in Iran, in Japan - 1.01 thousand, of which 706 are accounted for passengers and crew members of Diamond Princess.

    In France, there are 285 patients, in Germany - 240, Spain - 151, Singapore - 112, Hong Kong - 104, Great Britain - 85, USA - 80, Kuwait - 56, Malaysia - 50, Bahrain - 49, Thailand - 43, Taiwan - 42, Australia - 41, Switzerland - 37, Canada - 30, Norway - 33, Sweden - 32, Canada - 30, India - 28, Austria - 27, UAE - 27, Iraq - 26, the Netherlands - 24, Belgium - 23, Iceland and Vietnam - 16, Livne - 13, Oman - 12, San Marino, Macau and Israel-ten.

    Less than ten cases of infection have been reported in 47 other countries.
