    On the morning of February 27, in the world, with the exception of mainland China, the number of infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 reached 3530, having increased by 627 detected cases per day, the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post reported.

    According to its data, the number of victims of the coronavirus increased from 49 to 57 people per day: 19 people died in Iran, 13-in South Korea, 12-in Italy, seven - in Japan (four of them were passengers of the Diamond Princess cruise ship), two - in Hong Kong, two - in France, one case of death was recorded in Taiwan and the Philippines.

    Most of the patients - 1595 - were detected in South Korea, 862 in Japan, of which more than 690 are passengers and crew members of the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which is quarantined in Yokohama.

    In Italy, the publication counted 374 patients, Iran-139, Singapore-93, Hong Kong-91, USA-60, Thailand-40, Bahrain-33, Taiwan-31, Australia-23, Malaysia-22, Germany, France and Kuwait-18, Vietnam-16, UAE and great Britain-13, Macao and Canada-ten.

    Less than ten cases were reported in Iraq, the Philippines, Croatia, India, Austria, Kuwait, Finland, Israel, Oman, Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Algeria, Belgium, Cambodia, Sweden, Brazil, Egypt, Finland, Israel, Georgia, Greece, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Lebanon, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Romania and Switzerland.
