It is clarified that the man lives alone and had almost no contact with anyone upon arrival from Milan (Lombardy) to Buenos Aires. The Ministry estimates that the probability of infecting others is low since the patient asked help on the same evening that he returned to Argentina.

It is noted that the patient is in a "good clinical condition". Currently, ministry officials are identifying the passengers of the flight to which the sick person flew from Italy.

La Nacion clarifies that Argentina has become the third country in South America where the new coronavirus has been detected. Two more cases were reported in Brazil and six in Ecuador.

Italy, from where a sick man returned to Argentina, is currently the main focus of coronavirus infection in Europe. More than 2.2 thousand people have already been infected with the coronavirus, almost 80 have died. Most cases in the northern regions, especially in Lombardy and Veneto.
