    Tajik authorities have notified airlines and tour operators of a ban on entry to the country for citizens of 35 countries due to the coronavirus. This is reported by "Asia-Plus" with reference to the document of the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan.

    The list includes China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Finland, Italy, Britain, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Israel, Austria, Croatia, Switzerland, USA, Canada, UAE, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Algeria.

    The agency urged not to sell them tickets for direct or transit flights. If they do buy tickets and arrive in Tajikistan, they will be returned on return flights, the agency warned. Tajik citizens will be quarantined for two weeks upon their return from these countries.

    Earlier, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Tajikistan suspended Somon Air and China Southern Airlines flights to China, as well as flights to Iran and Afghanistan.
