According to the initial calculations, the Super Heavy complex should have received 31 Raptor engines. In the near future, according to Musk, their number will increase to 35. Another 6 accelerators will be installed on Starship itself. SpaceX hopes that the Heavy Rocket and Starship bundle will allow you to perform virtually any tasks in space - from delivering people to Mars to launching satellites, astronauts and systems for collecting space debris.

The company was ready to move to a new stage of testing, but its plans were hampered by an incident that occurred last week - during a trial launch, the Starhopper rocket turned into a fireball for a few seconds. Although the design did not seriously hurt, further tests were postponed.
