Qualcomm already published the specifications of the Snapdragon 865, and a bit later the real performance of the flagship processor became known. The engineering model of the gadget was tested in the popular benchmark - and although the performance of serial models can change, you can now get an idea of the computing power of the new product.
In the single-core test, the eight-core Snapdragon 865 scored 4303 points. The result of multi-core testing is 13,344 points. For comparison, the results of the predecessor were noticeably more modest: Snapdragon 855 scored 3633 and 11 165 “parrots”, respectively.
The maximum clock frequency of the "large" core Snapdragon 865 is 2.84 GHz, four energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 operate at a constant frequency of 1.8 GHz. The new platform uses the Adreno 650 graphics accelerator, the performance of which, according to the manufacturer, is increased by 25% compared to its predecessor.
The appearance on the market of smartphones based on the new flagship mobile platform is expected in early 2020.
