  • Redmi Note 8 showed on the first real photos


    Following the publication of a video from the production line of Redmi Note 8, CEO Lu Weibing announced the date of the announcement of the new smartphone and spoke about its key characteristics. Soon the Internet leaked and "live" pictures of the device, revealing the key design features of the future news.

    The head of the brand shared information about the new device on his page in the social network Weibo. According to Weibing, compared with the previous model of the Redmi Note 8 line, it will receive a more capacious battery with support for charging more than 10 W, advanced shooting capabilities and an increased display-diagonal. It is expected that the smartphone will be equipped with a 64-megapixel sensor of the main camera — the Redmi Note 7 resolution was 48 MP.

    Presumably, the gadget will get a cutout on the display under the selfie camera. The "core" of new items, according to rumors, may become MediaTek Helio G90T, but the specific platform Weibin not disclosed.

    Another leak was just three pictures of the unannounced smartphone. Judging by the photos, Redmi Note 8 will receive a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a slot for two SIM cards and a triple camera located in the center of the rear panel.

    Not so long ago, Liu Weibin said that the serial production of the smartphone began more than two weeks ago, and the company is ready for its shipment. The presentation of Redmi Note 8 will take place on August 29.
