At CES 2020, Intel officially unveiled the NUC 9 Extreme Ghost Canyon, a miniature modular computer. For the first time, it became known about it back in October last year, but now some important details about this device have been revealed.
Intel does not report all the technical details of the computer. It is known that it is made in a 5-liter case, which means that it is comparable in size to game consoles. However, the company promises the performance of a full-fledged desktop computer. This is achieved through the use of H-series Intel Core processors, up to i9, and discrete graphics cards. The main thing is that the device can be upgraded by replacing components with new and more powerful ones. For this, special Compute Element modules will be released.
The price, detailed technical specifications, supported video cards, the start date of sales - all this has not yet been announced. It is expected that by the end of the week journalists will receive a computer, after which you can wait for the appearance of new details.
