  • MIUI 11 will get an unusual voice assistant function


    On the eve of the expected announcement of Xiaomi MIUI 11, new details about the capabilities of the popular shell for Android smartphones continue to appear on the network. According to the new leak, the owners of gadgets based on proprietary firmware will receive the original function of the digital assistant: he will be able to communicate with the voice not only with the user of the device but also with his interlocutor when an incoming call.

    After activation in the system menu, the new firmware function will allow you to "transfer the phone" to the virtual assistant when an incoming call. The digital assistant will translate the caller's voice into on-screen text on the fly and offer a suitable answer. After the user selects the appropriate phrase, the algorithm will answer the interlocutor voice smartphone owner.

    The eleventh version will be a major update to the MIUI shell. Among the innovations expected firmware — support gesture control, the redesign of the menu, multitasking, quick replies in the notification center, improved screenshots, the reduction of advertising and other changes.

    The exact release date of MIUI 11 is not announced, but earlier in the network has already appeared a list of smartphones that will be the first to receive an update of proprietary software Xiaomi.
