  • Microsoft will start deleting inactive accounts

An important message for those who have a Microsoft account that has been idle for years. The company announced that from August 30 it will begin to get rid of accounts that remain inactive for two or more years. Apparently, in this way, the Corporation will release the names for new users of services like Games Pass and Project xCloud.

Microsoft will start deleting inactive accounts

At the same time, all accounts that have purchased games, active subscription or simply have some real money balance in the account are not subject to removal. In other words, do not worry about your wallet or collection of games, for some reason stored on an inactive account. Only accounts of malicious "non-visitors" will go under the knife.

The mentioned Project xCloud is the upcoming cloud gaming service from Microsoft, which will allow you to run games on anything. The solution promises to be not as radical as Google Stadia and will require the presence of brand devices.
