The company announced that it is preparing the release of the Defender Advanced Threat Protection software solution for mobile operating systems. Microsoft Vice President Rob Lefferts emphasized that "Android and iOS are pretty secure, but malware does exist on these platforms."

The Corporation has previously released Defender ATP software for Windows and macOS. The app offers features such as preventive protection, threat detection, and automatic scanning. The date of the mobile version of the Defender in Google Play and App Store will be announced by the developer later.
