One of the features of Microsoft Edge is the built-in mode of reading sites aloud: it can save time to get acquainted with the news without being distracted from other things. But not all users liked the robotic voice of the browser, and in the new version of the application, the company has updated the algorithm, making it sound more natural.
In addition to the more "human" sound of the new algorithm, the updated version of Edge has got a convenient context menu of the right mouse button. You can use it to quickly pause or switch between paragraphs. In the taskbar of the browser is still available to control the speed of reading the virtual assistant and a drop-down menu to change the language.
Microsoft noted that the use of advanced versions of the voice engine requires an active Internet connection. You can try out the new sound in the developer version of Edge, which you can download on the official website. Earlier, the company spoke in detail about other features of the upcoming version of the "default browser".
