  • Microsoft announced the release of Windows 1.0. This OS is almost 35 years old

Microsoft has unexpectedly announced the presentation of a brand new operating system Windows 1.0. According to the Redmond Corporation, this OS is based on MS-DOS Executive and it even has a clock. It is small, but fans are already making guesses.

"Introducing the all-new Windows 1.0 with MS-Dos Executive, clock and more!"- this message appeared on all Microsoft accounts in social networks.

In the video published by Microsoft, the Windows 10 logo is first visible, and then all previous versions of the “windows” before the very first - Windows 1.0. This operating system, which essentially serves as an add-on on top of the MS-DOS Executive, was announced by Bill Gates in 1983, and its release took place in 1985.

The company is still kept in the comments and asks users to wait for new details that should appear very soon. Some have suggested that the software giant decided to simply support the release of the new season of the popular TV series “Very Strange Things”, which takes place in the 80s. The premiere of the third season will take place on July 4, 2019 on Netflix.
