  • MacBook Pro banned from being transported in airplanes


    Owners of MacBook Pro will have another unpleasant surprise. Shortly after Apple acknowledged defective large shipment of laptops to "boycott" the problematic models and joined the airline. A number of carriers banned carrying laptops with "bad reputation" on Board the aircraft.

    The Federal Aviation Administration of the United States has sent a warning to air carriers about the possibility of ignition of the models of laptops specified in the Apple report. According to the vendor, models released in mid-2015 are at risk of self-ignition. According to the publication SlashGear, today there are already 26 proven cases of fire.

    Us regulators have banned problematic MacBook Pro models from being transported by air. The only exceptions are instances that have already undergone the battery replacement procedure at an authorized Apple service center. However, it is not yet known how to determine the suitability of such laptops for air travel.
