A year after the announcement of the proprietary discrete graphics cards, Intel showed them to the world for the first time. The Chinese division of the chipmaker has published in the social network Weibo video with the official demonstration of the graphics accelerator. The device looks very futuristic.
Video card with the logo of Xe on the front side is equipped with three large coolers filled with bright blue backlight. The adapter is made in a metal casing that protects it from all sides. The printed circuit Board is reinforced with a metal plate at the back and equipped with additional illumination.
Apparently, the video card is powered through two 8-pin connectors. It has three DisplayPort and one HDMI for connecting monitors.
Specifications of the video adapter are not disclosed. Release is planned for 2020. Prices are also still kept secret.
