    The largest Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has published a forecast regarding the fifth-generation networks and the growth of the number of Internet users by 2025. Analysts believe that 5g is the future, and the influx of active devices supporting this technology will increase annually.

    Huawei has estimated that in six years the user base of augmented and virtual reality devices will be 337 million. At the same time, the number of companies actively using VR/AR TECHNOLOGIES will increase by 10% compared to 2019.

    In 2025, it is planned to cover the 5G network at the level of 58%. Internet by that time will be used by about 6.2 billion people, and mobile communication standard 5G — about 6.1 billion, which is almost 80% of the world's population. The fifth-generation network will generate impressive amounts of data to provide producers of goods and service providers with information on the interests of potential customers.

    Huawei also emphasizes that 97% of companies in the next six years will be somehow connected with the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
