Chinese home appliance manufacturer Haier has proved that nothing is impossible. The company teamed up with the Craft-Bamboo Racing team from Hong Kong to jointly develop a prototype car with an engine from a washing machine.
Initially, the engineers of the craft-Bamboo Racing team installed the engine of the Haier washing machine on a special tool to test its power. According to the results of a thorough analysis, they recorded a power of 660 W and a torque of 45 Nm. The team developed a unique aerodynamic body for Haier to reduce air resistance while driving.
Quote"When Haier approached us with the task of creating a race car based on the washing machine, it sounded like an impossible task, but we remained open-minded and accepted the task. What surprised us the most is the engine power of the washing machine with direct drive Haier. We tested the engine and quickly realized that the idea is quite real. Engineers have implemented the project to make this dream come true," said Darryl O ' young, Director of Craft-Bamboo Racing.
It is not known at what speed this car will drive and whether it will be able to participate in professional races.
