  • Google's new feature makes it easier to find information online

Google is testing a new feature in the company's search service that makes it easier to find the right information on the Internet. It allows you to quickly find the answer to a search engine question in a large article. However, the innovation is not available to everyone.

When searching for information through Google, some users noticed that when you open sites from the issue page are moved immediately to the right place with the answer in the article and the latter is further highlighted in yellow. The presented examples show that when you request the difference between 4K and 1440p in the open site immediately highlighted a piece of text that describes the difference between the two resolutions.

It should be noted that this feature works on mobile devices when opening some AMP-pages since 2018. However, it is now available in the desktop version of the search engine. It works only in Chrome.

Google employees said that the new option is currently available to about 5% of users. The timing of the global release is not reported.
