  • Donald Trump: “We are not going to do business with Huawei”

US President Donald Trump is very inconsistent in his decisions. At the end of June, he allegedly lifted a number of sanctions against Huawei, but a few days later a representative of his administration clarified that there was no question of a complete amnesty. And then the head of the United States made a new high-profile statement regarding the Chinese company.

“We are not going to cooperate with Huawei. I made the final decision. It’s much easier not to do business with her. But we can make some concessions in the event of a trade agreement with China, ”said Donald Trump.

According to the US president, they are conducting a dialogue with China, but so far they have not been able to reach a common agreement. Donald Trump's new decision regarding Huawei was announced after China stopped purchasing American agricultural products in response to the unexpected threat of tariff increases from Trump. Chinese authorities also prevented the yuan from plummeting against the dollar to 2008 levels.

Nevertheless, the U.S. Department of Commerce told CNBC that it is still approving special licenses for companies wishing to resume trading with Huawei, while Trump's statement so far only concerns the ban on the purchase of Chinese equipment by the US government.

Recall that this week Huawei introduced its own operating system HarmonyOS, developed for all types of smart devices and is able to completely replace Android.
