    Recently, the Geekbench database showed the results of the unannounced smartphone PDKM00, which insiders associate with the OPPO A92s 5G model based on the MediaTek Dimensity 800 mobile processor. In anticipation of the release of the new product, enthusiasts compared the chip performance with competing solutions from HUAWEI and Qualcomm in the middle price segment.

    The opponents of MediaTek Dimensity 800 are Kirin 820, which debuted with the HONOR 30S smartphone, as well as the Snapdragon 765G, which became the “core” of the Redmi K30 5G. According to the test results, the Chinese challenger became the leader - its indicators in Geekbench were 2987 and 9395 points in the single - and multi-core, tests, respectively.

    The Dimensity 800 was inferior in performance to the Snapdragon 765G chip in a single-core test, gaining 2504 “parrots” versus 2891 from the opponent, but outperformed it with a load on all CPU cores: 8130 versus 7758 points.

    According to previous leaks, the MediaTek Dimensity 800 is manufactured using a 7-nanometer process technology. The SoC architecture is represented by four high-performance Cortex-A76 cores and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55. For the graphics capabilities of the new chip meets Mali-G77MC4. The mobile platform supports displays with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, as well as up to 16 GB of RAM standard LPDDR4X.
