  • Dell introduced an advanced gaming desktop and 55-inch OLED monitor

    Dell has updated the range of gaming solutions under the brand name Alienware release gaming desktop Aurora R9. The chip of the system unit, made in the original design of the case, was a wide range of configurations and advanced cooling capabilities. Another novelty of the brand was a 55-inch OLED monitor with 4K resolution, high refresh rate and an impressive set of interface ports.

    The Aurora R9 desktop, despite its relatively compact size, provides convenient installation and good cooling of all components due to the modular design. Depending on the configuration, the desktop is equipped with a power supply of 460 or 850 W and Intel processor up to the flagship Core i9-9900K, the amount of RAM (HyperX Fury DDR4-3200) is up to 64 GB.

    Supports installation of Intel Optane module and two NVMe solid-state drives in slot M. 2 (PCIe) with capacity up to 2 TB each, as well as SATA HDD (up to 2 TB, 7200 rpm). Two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 are responsible for the graphics capabilities of the gaming system in the maximum configuration. The list of network interfaces includes Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (2x2 MIMO) and Bluetooth 5.0 modules. USB 3.0 Gen 1 Type-A and Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C, and DisplayPort 1.2 ports are responsible for wired connectivity.

    The Aurora R9 desktops in silver and black colors of the case will go on sale today, August 20, at a price of $970.

    The more affordable Dell G5 5090 gaming PC is built on a ninth-generation Intel processor and comes with a variety of graphics card options, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 in the maximum configuration. The model is equipped with up to 64 GB of RAM DDR4-2666 MHz, SSD capacity up to 1 TB M. 2 slot with PCIe bus in combination with traditional HDD up to 2 TB. The price of the new item starts at $629.

    The 55-inch Alienware gaming OLED monitor received minimal display frames, 4K resolution, 0.5 MS response time, 120 Hz refresh rate, and support for AMD FreeSync technology to eliminate picture gaps in dynamic scenes. The new product has one DisplayPort 1.2 port, three HDMI 2.0, four USB Type-A, headphone jack, and SPDIF line-out.

    The monitor includes a proprietary remote control for easy image adjustment. The standard mount is compatible with VESA - the display can be mounted on any suitable bracket for a Computer Desk or hung on the wall. There is also the possibility of desktop installation on a standard stand.

    Alienware 55 OLED Gaming Monitor will go on sale on September 30 at the price of $3999.
