Prior to the official start of IFA 2019 in Berlin, Acer held its own Next@Acer event, which introduced new devices. In addition to gaming laptops, the manufacturer showed an updated version of the record-breaking Swift 5 and a new line of laptops for professionals.
Acer Swift 5
Updated Acer Swift 5, the lightest 15-inch laptop in the world, received a new tenth generation Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, a discrete GeForce MX250 graphics card, 512 GB PCIe drive, support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), USB Type -C (Thunderbolt) and biometric authorization using Windows Hello. In addition, the device provides the ability to quickly charge in 30 minutes.
Acer Swift 5 will be released in November for $ 900.
Acer ConceptD 3
The ConceptD line of professional-oriented models has been supplemented by the ConceptD 3. This is a 15-inch laptop that is not much different from ConceptD 5. It uses the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics processor and the ninth generation Intel Core i7 processor. The claimed battery life is 10 hours. Another feature is the low noise level during operation - less than 40 dB even at maximum load.
Acer ConceptD 3 Pro
The new ConceptD 3 will go on sale in November for as low as $ 1,000. Then it will be released with an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics card for as low as $ 1,700.
Acer ConceptD 5 Pro
Acer ConceptD 5 Pro is made in a metal case and is equipped with an IPS-display with a resolution of 4K and a diagonal of 15.6 or 17.3 inches. Inside installed Intel Core i7 ninth generation and NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000.
Price ConceptD 5 Pro will start at $2000.
Acer ConceptD 7 Pro
The ConceptD 7 Pro model was equipped with a 15.6-inch 4K-display with 100% coverage of Adobe RGB, an Intel Core i7 processor, and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics card. All this fit in a 17.9 mm-thick case and 2.1 kg in weight. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Pro.
Acer ConceptD 9 Pro
Acer ConceptD 9 Pro is a transformer with a 17.3-inch screen with a swivel joint. If necessary, it can be turned into a tablet to work with the complete Wacom EMR stylus, capable of recognizing 4096 degrees of depression. The device is equipped with a ninth-generation Intel Core i9 processor and a discrete NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card.
