Developing a line of branded portable electronics, Xiaomi introduced a Bluetooth speaker called Mi Outdoor, designed for use not only at home but also on the street. Despite its compact size, the new product with support for the Bluetooth 5.0 Protocol is notable for its impressive battery life, and its body is protected from the consequences of walking in the rain.
According to the manufacturer, on a single charge of the built-in battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh, "pocket" acoustics with a speaker output power of 5 W can work up to 20 hours in playback mode. Thanks to IPX5 protection, the gadget is able to survive the ingress of water on the case, while maintaining its performance. When designing the device, the company's engineers used a diaphragm with a special damping system, which makes the speaker sound clean.
The Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker is designed with a passive emitter that amplifies low frequencies. In addition to the charging port, the case has a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired connection of the signal source and a hardware key for activating the voice assistant or answering phone calls in hands-free mode. The small size of the device makes it easy to carry it in the palm of your hand or in a small bag. The kit also includes a special wrist strap.
The new product has already gone on sale in India at a price of $20.
