Sigma has introduced the world's smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless digital camera with L-mount Sigma fp. Given the size of 113 x 70 x 45 mm and 370 grams of weight, it can even be carried in your pocket. Despite its modest size, it is equipped with a large touch screen and all the necessary connectors for connecting accessories and other devices.
Sigma fp uses a 24.6-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor with a traditional Bayer color filter, a contrast autofocus system and autofocus on the eyes. The light sensitivity range is ISO 100-25600 and extends to ISO 6-102400. There is also support for HDR and saving images in 14-bit DNG format. Burst speed — 18 fps with a maximum length of 12 frames.
The new product shoots video in 4K UHD format with a frequency of 24 frames per second and the ability to save in 12-bit DNG format. There is also a Director mode that allows you to view videos with different aspect ratios. And in the body of the camera, there is a radiator that protects from overheating during long video recording.
The camera is equipped with a 3.2-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2.1 million pixels. HDMI and USB 3.1 are provided from the connectors. It is possible to install a flash, an external microphone and remote control for remote shutter release.
Sigma fp will go on sale this fall. The price of the camera has not been announced yet.
