A curved color display, the case with protection against water and dust, and also the built-in port for charging the battery became the key features of the affordable new product.
Realme Band is equipped with a 0.96-inch color IPS display with a resolution of 160x80 pixels, five brightness levels, and a touch button. Out of the box, users are offered five options for the design of the main screen — in the future, according to the manufacturer, the number of design themes will be expanded. The device body is protected by IP68 standard and can withstand immersion to a depth of one and a half meters.
The new product has an optical heart rate sensor that can track the heart rate every 5 minutes in the sleep quality monitoring mode. In addition to the nine fitness modes, there is an Idle Alert function that reminds you to warm up at specified intervals. Among other features of the model is the ability to receive notifications from Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok apps.
The battery with a capacity of 90 mAh is responsible for the autonomy of the realme Band. the claimed autonomy of the model is up to 9 days with active use. The bracelet is synced with your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.2 using the realme App, a proprietary mobile app available in Google Play for devices running Android 5.0 or later.
The fitness tracker weighs only 20 grams and is equipped with a removable polyurethane bracelet — black, yellow or green. Sales of the new product will start in India on March 9 at a price of $20.
